I am feeling pressured to write something witty. As our first post, I expect many people will see it. Well, I hope we attract an audience! But on the other hand, we have a long road ahead of us. So let’s go, starting with the Who, What, and Why…

We are MC Tech Space Inc, a Vermont public benifit non-profit corporation. We are chartered as a 501(c)(3) charity organized for the primary purpose to develop, deliver and
support education programs in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

This site is a cornerstone project of our overall mission, to help folks who want to learn new knowledge and skills, to promote and support Makers.

We see Makers working together to expand their knowledge and forge new skills as they move from tinkering to doing and making, to becoming proficient in their crafts. We see Makers sharing their experiences with others, becoming teachers and community leaders.

During the current alpha development stage, I will try to post information on every step we take. This is important to me, as it sets the stage for the future with emphasis on two core values:

• transparency in everything we do, aka honesty and open communication
• education by example, aka make something

And I better get on with it… I set our public preview launch date to be Nov 1, 2024. Just 24 more days to get this website built. Well, at least the Alpha version.
